Rajasthan SET 2013 (State Eligibility Test) for Lectureship RPSC

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer has issued fresh notification for the examination of Rajasthan SET (State Eligibility Test) for Lectureship. This Rajasthan SET (State Eligibility Test) is necessary for every individual seeking job as Lecturer in Rajasthan. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree OR equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Application, Earth Science, Population Studies, Education etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Physically Handicapped (PH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
2. Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Master's degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
3. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
4. Candidates are required to appear in subject of their post-graduation only. In case the subject of a candidate is not included in the list of SET subjects, the candidate may appear in UGC NET/UGC-CSIR NET, which is held twice a year.

The Test will be held on following centers. The Candidate can select anyone out of them:-
AJMER, BHARATPUR, BIKANER, JAIPUR, JODHPUR, KOTA & UDAIPUR.

Application fees:

(a) For OBC/SBC(Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state and General Candidates : Rs. 750/-
(b) For OBC/SBC (Non-Creamy layer) of Rajasthan state Candidates : Rs. 450/-
(c) For SC/ST of Rajasthan state and All the PH Candidates : Rs. 300/-

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer  has introduced online application process for inviting the application from desiring and eligible candidates. Online application form is available on the official website www.rpsconline.rajasthan.gov.in through which candidates has to apply.
